VICTOR BARROSO

Welcome to my Criminal justice class. I currently teach in room 105, and my conference time is from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The topics I teach range from Principles of Law which introduces the criminal justice system to the students and the careers that follow such as police officers, state and federal agents, and what the career is about. Basic law, court procedures, and criminal law are taught to students to familiarize them with the law enforcement path.

Police operations, history, and different police tactics and organizational structures are just some of the learning objectives taught to students in the classroom along with hands on activities such as fingerprinting, crime scene sketching, and tactical handcuffing techniques to name a few.

My classroom environment is teamwork-based, and questions, opinions, and discussion are always encouraged to help the student face problem-solving and critical thinking skills for the future.
