Mariachi Monumental is headed to STATE

Good morning Bulldog family, 

This Saturday, January 25, the AHS Mariachi ( Mariachi Monumental) competed at the UIL Coastal Bend Regional Competition, earned Superior ratings from all of the judges, and advanced to State. 

These students will now compete on Friday or Saturday February 21, 22 at Seguin HS for a shot at State. 

I would like to thank Mr. Guerrero, Joshua Martinez, and the band staff for permitting the students to undertake this additional task. These students do not take a Mariachi class and compete with everyone else who does and does a magnificent job. These students work on Mariachi music after Band and Orchestra Rehearsals.
