Welcome to Ms. Bautista’s class! 

This proposed innovative course is recommended for students in grades 11-12.  The course is designed as a guide through the basics of tax law and tax return preparation. The student will answer frequently asked questions and assist taxpayers in filing an accurate and complete tax return. This is mandatory for the student to test and become certified to be a volunteer return preparer. STUDENTS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO VOLUNTEER FOR THE V.I.T.A PROGRAM IN THE SPRING SEMESTER. You must maintain a grade of an 80 in certification exam to earn a tax preparation certification.
