Dear Parents,
It is a great privilege for me to have your child in my class.  I am a strong believer that the parents are the first teachers and that the home is the first classroom.  I am very confident that your child will be very successful in all undertakings if responsibilities and concerns regarding a student’s education will be shared by their parents and teachers.  Success in both teaching and learning is best nurtured in an environment where there is a clear set of rules and guidelines for behavior. For these reasons, I would like to ask your support and cooperation in assisting me in implementing my classroom plan.  Please take the time to read the syllabus and sign the form and return it.  If you have any questions and need further clarification regarding the classroom rules and guidelines, please feel free to contact me.  Thank you for your support and cooperation in this matter and I’m looking to contribute to your child’s growth and success.
